Mayrand Mandates CIS Group for Networking and Technical Services
The company Mayrand, a food wholesaler also serving the general public in Anjou, has decided to rely on the competence of CIS Group’s Technical Department team for the management of its computer systems.
This strategy gives the company’s management team access to the level of expertise needed in this respect, without the burden of having to recruit and manage the human resources of an internal team devoted to information technologies.
The outsourcing agreement covers the networking services, the maintenance of systems security, confidentiality, and data backup, as well as the availability of technicians for direct support to users, whether by phone or during on-premise visits.
CIS Group also assumes the role of consultant for Mayrand, with an eye to optimizing the installations as a first objective, but also when the time comes to acquire and configure new equipment. Acting then as a reseller as well, CIS can make its client benefit from sensibly lower acquisition costs, compared to market standards – doing so by leveraging the extent of its established client base and its close, long-term partnerships with the various manufacturers.
Since over thirty years, the expertise of CIS Group’s technical team is put at the service of numerous clients, most of whom are also users of CIS software applications. The Technical Department has however succeeded in independently growing its own client base, serving companies whose needs are more strictly of a technical nature.
About Mayrand
As an active presence in Montreal since 1914, Mayrand is a food wholesaler operating from an all-new 80,000-square-foot warehouse-store in Anjou, introducing several new categories, most notably a complete offering of restaurant and catering supplies, smallware, tableware, and kitchen tools. There are also new services available such as a bakery department and a professional kitchen, which prepares an all-new line of vacuum-packed and pasteurized products. It offers a full line of grocery products in both retail and institutional formats, a meat department where a dozen butchers prepare all cuts in-house, an impressive fish and seafood department with fresh arrivals daily and a huge fruit and vegetable department. Conceived originally for commercial customers, Mayrand started serving the general public as well many years ago, with the belief that the public should be able to benefit from the excellent prices and products offered to our commercial customers. Some travel from as far as Estrie and the Laurentians in order to benefit from the low prices. Mayrand has been a proud partner of the Regroupement des Magasins-Partage de l’île de Montreal for many years now. As a contributing partner, Mayrand ensures this organization has a solid base to build upon. We believe in giving back to the community and Les Magasins-Partage is perfectly positioned to do so. They provide much needed assistance to underprivileged families during some of the most financially trying times of the year.
