Saint-Jérôme, Québec, February 9, 2015 – Triumph Foods has chosen for its team of representatives the Companion® Rep2 software solution, by CIS Group. This decision consecrates the continuation of an ongoing collaboration between the two enterprises since another CIS application, Companion Route – that one used by delivery people – was already proving itself since numerous years at Charcuterie Tour Eiffel, when the latter was acquired by Triumph Foods in 2012.

The company will also complete its palette of management tools with the Companion® Dashboard software, the administrator’s tool to synthesize the entirety of sales data, for instance through a direct connection to the source of “point-of-sale” data generated by store chains like Sobey’s, Metro and Loblaws, and through a permanent link with the company’s ERP system, SAP B1. Data comparison and drilling is performed in a graphic display mode that promotes much more intuitive interpretation. And business analyses can focus on any one of the hierarchy elements defined in the system: chain, store, representative, region, etc.

As for the Companion® Rep2 application, it will be used by the field representatives to manage the array of merchandising activities: distribution and facings entry, validation of spaces, capture of suggested retail prices and information on competing products, with the capacity to also take in-store pictures. They will be able to process returns of expired products and will have access to their catalog of product pictures, as well as the list of priorities by store and by chain. All this will enable them to efficiently take the orders to be shipped to the warehouses of the chains, who handle further distribution.
