TI Foods Sales Force Migrates to New-Generation Application, Again with CIS Group
TI Foods, from Markham, Ontario, one of the leaders in Canada for sales, marketing, and distribution of Asian foods, will see the unfolding of a range of new possibilities for its team of representatives on the road. As the company initiates a second decade of cooperation with CIS Group, a migration is now planned from Companion® Rep to the new-generation Companion® Rep2.
Full integration between applications preserves the integrity of data throughout the cycle of operations, thanks to two-way communication between the mobile devices and the Companion® Office module – which in turn is interfaced with the back-end ERP system, SAP Business One, implemented at TI Foods by Vision33, one of the foremost SAP B1 integrators in America.
One of the most useful functionalities among the many offered by the Companion® Suite will be the management of marketing programs. These allow a representative to offer a promotion on one product, upon purchase of a combination of other products in certain quantities.
There can be any number of such programs, with any validity period for each, and especially any degree of complexity in the array of products considered. Companion® sets no limit.
Significant activities made easier by using Rep2 on a tablet include the capture of product distribution, along with order taking of course, as well as surveys, an essential activity to allow strategic gathering of pertinent information at the point of sale.
