CIS Group and Moov AI: Artificial Intelligence Driving Smarter Distribution
Montreal, July 10, 2025 – CIS Group, a leading provider of software solutions for Direct Store Delivery (DSD), today unveiled its innovation project supported by Scale AI, in the presence of the federal Minister of Artificial Intelligence, the Honourable Evan Solomon. In collaboration with Moov AI, a Quebec-based artificial intelligence expert, CIS Group is transforming direct distribution through two AI engines: predictive ordering and product assortment optimization by point of sale.
The right product, in the right quantity, at the right place, at the right time
This project will enable businesses to anticipate store needs based on concrete data rather than intuition. The result: fewer losses, more sales, and a significant reduction in food waste. The technology recommends the right products, in the right quantities, at the right location, and at the right time. This advancement will benefit the entire supply chain—from producers to consumers.
“Better delivery means being more productive and wasting less. Thanks to AI, our distributors will be able to achieve this—and we will all benefit,” says Éric Tessier, President of CIS Group.
“We’re proud to contribute to this project with our AI expertise. Together, we are building practical, responsible solutions that enhance business performance while making a positive impact on society,” says Dominic Danis, President of Moov AI.
With this innovation, companies will be able to better anticipate demand, reduce waste, and ensure greater product availability in stores.
