Immersive AI Workshops

In addition to attending keynotes, Maxime-Olivier and Cyrille participated in specialized workshops focused on integrating AI into commercial operations. These sessions explored practical use cases, including demand forecasting, product assortment optimization, and delivery planning.

A Project with Scale AI and Moov AI: Smarter Demand and Assortment Forecasting

One of the highlights of CIS’s presence at All In was the recognition of our AI project, developed in partnership with Scale AI, Moov AI, Boulangerie St-Méthode, and Dion Herbes & Épices. This initiative was featured in the All In special report published in the Financial Post.

The project aims to transform retail operations through two complementary AI engines:

  • Demand Forecasting Engine: This module analyzes historical sales data, returns, promotions, seasonality, and special events to accurately predict the quantities to deliver for each product and store.
  • Assortment Optimization Engine: This module recommends the most relevant products for each store based on product characteristics and store profiles.

These innovations will be integrated into CIS software solutions, generating value for our clients by improving inventory accuracy, reducing waste, and enhancing product availability. Ultimately, this contributes to a smarter, more agile supply chain that benefits not only businesses but society as a whole.

Societal Impact Beyond Business Value

Beyond commercial benefits, this project contributes to important societal goals:

  • Reducing food waste through better inventory management.
  • Optimizing deliveries, lowering transportation-related emissions.
  • Improving customer experience by ensuring the right products are available at the right time.

In conclusion

All In 2025 was an exceptional showcase for CIS, highlighting our expertise in artificial intelligence and our commitment to technological solutions that advance the industry — for the benefit of our clients and society.
