The consequences of poverty are far-reaching, impacting access to education, housing quality, food security, physical and mental health, and even life expectancy. Poverty is not only an individual challenge — it comes at a societal cost, depriving Quebec of its full potential in talent and resources, an estimated loss of $15.7 to $17 billion per year.
